So my mom surprised me with tickets to Coldplay because she likes them and Yellow is John and I's song.
So Yellow was one of the fist few song they played and when is started they released a bunch of huge yellow beach ball like balloons into the crowd to bounce around.
Best discovery ever had to be that when the balloons popped they were filled with CONFETTI!
Then Chris dedicates the song to his guitar player who's name just so happens to be Johnny.

What show did you see that didn't live up to your expectations. Mine was Red Hot Chili Peppers. They could not have been more bored to be there. Total letdown. If they didn't want to put on a show they should have just cancelled.

KGB show / videos

Last night was pretty damn sweet.
Cody and I didn't get to Blake's until the KGB were already on 'cause we also caught Panda Dizzy Balloon at BOTH, but we saw five or six songs and they were awesome. Totally worth the trip and the 20 bucks. I can't believe I got to see them after all this time...

Really fun show last friday. Calerway were the first support, and even though they weren't a good match, they played a tight set with some really catchy songs. The second support was kinda bad.

Anyway, The Matches played a very similar set to the last Sydney show in Feb, but chucked in a few more songs from ABIH. They came out in pirate gear with eye patches and swords. Here's the setlist:

The venue was pretty small, but everyone seemed into it so it was all good. Afterwards people tried to show them where the bars were and in it ended up being 20 people wandering...

I had to leave after The Matches (damn having to wake up early to go to work, being an adult sucks ass), but what I saw was good. The first band, Picture Atlantic, reminded me of Jack's Mannequin with some Kill Hannah face paint and Tom from PWTs dance moves thrown in. Good and unpretentious, definitely worth checking out their MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/pictureatlantic). Plus some of their parents showed up...
